Replacement brush heads for the SE820, 5 Mar. 2015

Slightly confusing description as these are actually the replacement brush heads for the SE820 facial cleansing brush. These clip neatly into the device and replacing the brush heads is very straightforward. The bristles can be feel quite firm on your skin when the brush is switched on but it does feel like my face is getting a workout and a decent clean. These brush heads are easy to remove and clean and according to the manufacturer should be used for a few months before needing to be replaced.

This pack contains two replacement brushes that are compatible with the SE810, SE820, SE830, SE831 and SE8XX Braun Facial care systems.This was my first experience of using a brush to exfoliate and cleanse my face and I was impressed by how much smoother my skin felt after a relatively short period of use, particularly as I initially used it only with water. Results when I added a rinse-off cleanser to the process were even better.Braun recommend a brush is replaced after approximately three months of use, (a simple click on/off process) so the pack will last six months if used by one person. This has proven to be a very positive addition to my normal skincare regime.

A Brush with the Fore(head), 10 Mar. 2015

Sometimes you buy a product for one reason and mainly end up using it for another. The ‘Braun Face SE830 Epilator’ is a great example of this. The device comes with a unique oscillating head that makes it a great tool, but it also has another function. You can remove the epilator head and instead replace it with a round brush that can be used to gently exfoliate your face. If you use this brush as part of your usual regime it works brilliantly giving your face a soft, clean feel.

The brushes that come with the ‘SE80’ are soft and work wonders, but will eventually run out. Thankfully then, you can buy spare replacement heads. Each one is meant to last for 3 months, so for your money this replacement kit should give you half a year of cleansing power. I have actually found that the brushes are used far more than the more central epilator.
