Worked well for a while..., 6 Dec. 2008

I'm afraid i'll have to give it one star as well. Worked perfectly for about four months, then simply started pulling hairs and not shaving close anymore; it now makes a new noise like it's broken. Twas good to start with, but i'm out shopping again, 4 months later.Update: I've sent this shaver in for a replacement. Braun Service Centres are good, they send you out a replacement fairly quickly, but guess what?I'm on the FOURTH replacment this year.A crap product, it is.

3 replacements in less than a year!, 24 Oct. 2008

If you want hassle, then buy this shaver! I bought mine in July 2008 used the shaver but was unable to use the trimmer as the blades appeared jammed. I 'phoned Braun's Infoline and was told to send it to their service centre with the Amazon invoice and letter explaining the problem. The centre promptly sent a new replacement. This time the new shaver trimmer worked but the shaving head did not! I removed the head to inspect it and there appeared to be no fitment to hold the blades in place as they just fell out. Once again I returned the 2nd shaver to the service centre and because I complained about the postage costs, I was given their Freepost address 'in case I had any further problems' and once again promptly received a replacement. Little did I think I would need that Freepost address, and so soon. But this time, like the original shaver, the shaving head worked but the trimmer blades were jammed! After 'phone calls with the service centre I understand I have the option...

Excellent but doesn't last, 26 Aug. 2008

This is one of the best little shavers i have had. But i have had two over 12 months and the last has only lasted 5 months. I use it about once a week. Its perfect for your bikini line and gives a smooth, effortless shave. I love it but am unsure whether to buy another one. Despite it been the best shaver out of many i have had. No nicks, no cuts.The shaver just stops working. Perhaps its a battery fault with them, a shame really. I guess i will let you judge whether the price is worth 5/6 months usage.?But would get 6 stars from me if only it lasted 12 months. Trying to find a replacement to no avail, none sound half as good.!
