I was a bit nervous when I ordered this as it was a newer version of the original that came with my shaver. You get two items - the pair of cutters that fit in the center of the shaver, and the foil that goes over the top.
The blades fitted on fine (you need to press down firmly on them to get them to slot home. Mind your fingers!). The foil too fitted perfectly on my series 300. My old foil had cracked (after a drop) so it needed replacing. By the way, you don't just get the foil - you get the whole plastic cartridge into which the foil is already fixed. So all you have to do is press the release buttons on the side of your shaver, remove the old cartridge - remove the old pair of blades, insert the new pair, then put the new cartridge+foil assembly on top. It just takes a couple of clicks.

I have had a Braun 7570 rechargeable electric shaver for many years. It came with a cleaner-charger 'holster' into which the shaver is placed when not in use. As its name suggests, the holster can clean the shaver's cutting surfaces (foil & cutter) or charge the shaver or do both tasks simultaneously. The very latest shavers have super hard cutting surfaces and require little maintenance except perhaps cleaning under a stream of water to remove stubble. The 7570 'intelligent' shaver, like many of its generation, need to be both cleaned AND lubricated and the holster is designed to accept a replaceable modular bath containing an antiseptic fluid used in the cleaning and lubricating process.
I have noticed over the years that the design of the cutting surfaces, most notably the matrix of holes in the foil, has gradually evolved and hopefully now provide a more comfortable and closer shaving experience than before. The Braun 30B foil and cutter represent the latest incarnation...
