Effective epilator - does the job!, 10 Jun. 2014

I had to buy a new Braun 7 recently since my previous one died. It was running slow then finally wouldn't run at all even at full charge. I managed to catch it within the 2-year guarantee period, so that's been returned for repair. I do however, need an epilator right now so I had no choice but to buy a backup.

I'm really pleased with Braun 7 epilators in general. I only ever find myself using one of the heads (the one with the "massaging" roller bits) since it's the most comfortable and doesn't catch on any skin. I use it in all areas.. arms, legs, lady area, etc. More convenient than waxing for me, personally. I always use it in the bath as opposed to a shower (be careful not to drop the epilator though) and I use some shaving soap to make the epilator glide over the skin better. A bit like shaving preparation. This way it picks up all the hairs, even though you may have to go over the same place a couple of times.

I love it! For me using this is relatively painless and I definitely don't have to remove my hair as often as when I was shaving. My legs are so smooth with them too. With this hair removal is more of an option for me than an obligation - my body hair growth has been a lot slower and lighter.I wouldn't say the exfoliation brush makes much of a difference as the motion feels very light, but I am very happy with my purchase. I have had some bumps, but I think that's just a risk of hair removal from the follicle and is something that exfoliating with a brush reduces / eliminates.I would definitely recommend this.N.B. I wouldn't use this on extremely sensitive body parts! Also to charge in a regular UK socket you will need an adapter.

I've been using this for a few months now. It holds a charge for a very long time, I rarely have to recharge it and use it very regularly (couple of times a week). Although it should be noted that you cannot use it while it is plugged in to charge (unlike previous models).It is very efficient at removing hairs, so the job is done quickly!I don't really use the sonic head that much, but its quite a pleasant sensation & seems to leave my skin feeling quite smooth.There is no such thing as a painless epilator, but I find this one much less painful than my previous one (also a Braun Silk-Epil). So far I am very pleased with this purchase.
