Doesn't Lather, But Definitely Soothes, 12 Dec. 2012

As someone who absolutely hates shaving, I decided to go with something that would be gentle and soothing on my skin. So I looked around for "natural shaving gel" and I found Bulldog. I just used it today and I would like to make a couple of pointers.

Firstly, the shaving gel doesn't really work well into a lather. I'm thinking of getting a shaving brush to make it lather better, but this is a little annoying. Secondly, it dries up very quickly, so you need to keep applying it, especially if you use double-edged razors like me and need to take more time to shave.

However, the gel does treat the skin very well, and my shaving experience was ultimately good. I used a pre-shave oil before applying the Bulldog shaving gel, and then used a Double-Edged Safety Razor to do the job. The results were good, although for the price, they could really do with putting in more gel.

All in all, this is a great option for people looking for natural shaving gel...

This really is a great product. I use an electric wet shaver and in the past hated the way over time white residue would build up from shaving foam/gel. This stuff, however, washes clean away leaving no residue at all. In addition to that, it smells great, feels great and doesn't leave your skin feeling dried out.

Ideal product - best shave ever, 27 Feb. 2014

I've always swapped and changed shaving gels, creams and foams but in my 29 years this of life this has been by far the best I have ever used.No residue after shaving, smells nice and made with natural ingredients - Will be repeating this order for the foreseeable future.
