"Doesn't Lather", True but Missing the Point, 25 Dec. 2012

Hands down, quite simply the best shaving experience I've ever had.

People are giving this bad reviews due to the fact it doesn't lather, and its true, it doesn't. But you're missing the point. It's not supposed to lather. This is a cream, not a gel or foam and can still do a fantastic job at allowing your razor to slice off those whiskers.

My recommendation: Place a large almond-sized amount into your lathering bowl, mug, or cup. Wet your shaving brush and proceed to work the cream into your brush. Then apply the cream as you would any other shaving cream, gel or soap. The best method for coating your face is the painters canvas method, in which you slide it on your face as a painter paints on a canvas. This will allow for the best cushion, in my opinion.

Gives a good shave, but a bit of an odd fragrance, 21 Oct. 2015

As a general rule I don't shave on consecutive days, and sometimes leave a few days between shaves. If my stubble is short enough and my razor blade still sharp enough, I will use a shave oil, either

. However if the stubble is a bit longer or blade losing its edge I need something a bit more substantial to soften it. Many such products seem to irritate my skin quite badly however, one in particular even giving me a burning rash (I'm talkin' 'bout you, Boots Botanics), and in the search for something gentler on my skin I gave this a go.

I like smell and it gives a nice shave, the product itself is just to watery though.Would prefer it if was but thicker in consistency.
