Amazing, all round skin ointment.., 8 Feb. 2016

Excellent, superb value for money Burt's Bees ointment. My grandson was teething and had napkin rash. No matter how many times my daughter changed his nappy and applied a well known brand of baby cream, and other brands, nothing worked. I bought this ointment and it did the job in two days! Amazing stuff, highly recommended too. Is a bonus too if you have amazon prime as it arrived the next day.If I could give more than five stars I would, I am that pleased.

I first picked this up over a year ago, when my son developed eczema at 3 months old. I chose it as an alternative to the the paraffin/petroleum based ointment prescribed by the doctors, as they seemed to burn and aggravate his skin. This product, by contrast, helped to clear his eczema and he got back his baby soft skin.

I'm not saying this is a miracle cure - my son is now 1 years old and he occasionally has flare ups of eczema when I introduce something new to his diet. It can take a few weeks to see results, but this does wonders and helps to clear up the rash once I cease giving him the offending food/drink. I love the texture and think it smells great. Other reviewers have mentioned that this is grainy and this is true sometimes (8 of the 10 I've purchased were smooth), but that's just the nature of all natural products.

The price of this product is a bit much, but I can't bring myself to knock off a star because I think it works well. I cannot rate this...

I love this stuff! I'm going through topical steroid withdrawal (TSW) so it's brilliant to find a product that's natural and gentle on my sensitive skin. The smell is wonderful, and a little goes a long way. I highly recommend this product and will continue to buy Burts Bees products.
