I started using a benzoyl peroxide product many years ago but I no longer suffer from breakouts and really wanted to switch to something more "natural" to treat the occasional blemish I still get.

This is a very watery liquid that comes in a small glass cylinder with a rollerball applicator tip. It doesn't really rub in because it's just too runny (like eau de toilette) and you just sort of have to dab it on. I tried the Australian bodycare tea tree stick many years ago and this Burt's Bees one is very reminiscent of that. The product smells pleasant enough: fresh tea tree and aniseed, which I really like. It does sting a bit when you apply it to the skin, but I guess that might be down to the alcohol content. I admittedly didn't realize the product contained alcohol, but looking at the packaging now, alcohol denat is the first ingredient in the list. Alcohol can be pretty drying but in this instance, using the stick 3 times a day (as instructed) did not dry out my skin,...

This item is great!I used to use the Liz Earle spot on stick but they discontinued it so i was stuck with what to use.I thought id give it a go and its amazing, just as good as Liz Earle.Im now on my second stick and wont go back to using anything else!

The BEST thing for spots, 9 Feb. 2012
You're on your way to bed and you notice a spot on it's way. Don't wait 'til morning, get some of this stuff on it before you go to bed, and come the next day, it either won't have come up or will already be on the way out (in which case just put some more on in the morning on clean skin)! It just works. The only downside is that it's "thin", i.e. liquid not a gel, so sometimes runs down your face - just be prepared with a tissue.
