Lovely full size gift set, great value., 11 Sept. 2015

This Burt's Bees gift set quite frankly knocks the socks off the usual toiletries gift sets, 5 full size products with a natural led ethos choosing natural products over mineral oils and chemical laden formulations, these are luxury and nourishing. I would be delighted to recieve this set, even with the interestingly scented Shea hand cream!

I'm a big fan of Burt's bees, from their diaper ointment to their amazing petrolatum free lip balms which are the only thing I can use on my lips when I get an eczema attack. They aim to be as natural as possible choosing oils over petroleum or mineral oil products and these products do not disappoint on that count.

The peppermint and vitamin e lipbalm has a higher concentration of peppermint than the normal formulation and gives a nice little zing and blushes pale lips naturally due to the vasodilation effect, but is sadly not one for the sensitive skinned or when the skin is irritated.

Great gift set of quality products., 8 Sept. 2015

I handed this to Marla and she seemed very pleased, over to her....

Since this is a nice collection of Burt's products in a tasteful Christmas themed presentation set, I think this is well worth the money. I tried all the bits out and think they are really pleasant, all of them are very thick and rich seeming and smell strongly of the various claimed fruits etc. The hand cream is particularly good, not oily or greasy, absorbed very quickly leaving a smooth talc like feel, earthy almost manly aroma, Tyler uses it too and likes it. Same with the lip balm and shimmer, minty aroma, good moisturising, OK to use the shimmer for a natural colour on informal days. The body lotion best to use on patches or problem area due to the thickness of it, quite a strong smell. The Coconut foot cream was my least favourite just because of its greasy texture meaning I had to wear socks in bed to use it over night but it actually helps with the dry and cracked skin so I will keep on using it, strong...

Excellent Gift Set, 12 Oct. 2015

This is a really well presented set of skincare essentials. I had ordered it for my daughter to try out and the nice Christmas print outer carton did not deter her from putting it to use immediately. In the box you get 5 good sized Burt's Bees products (as in the photo), these are:

• Naturally Nourishing Milk and Honey Body Lotion (170g).

• Coconut Foot Cream (120g).

• Shea Butter Hand Repair Cream (50g).

• Beeswax Lip Balm with Vitamin E & Peppermint Oil (4.25g).

• Rhubarb Lip Shimmer (2.6g).

Upon opening the box there was a very strong aroma of coconut which was very pleasant and was a foretaste of the range of lovely smells that were to come as the seals were removed and each tube opened. The design of each individual products container gives an impression of real quality and when you read the list of natural ingredients (2nd photo) this impression is re-enforced.
