I bought this item to replace another beeswax-based lipbalm because the availability of the previous one I used is rather poor. I also tried the original blend.

Pros:

+ In comparison to the original Burt's Bees mix, this one feels a little bit better on the lips.

Cons:

- I found that it doesn't last very long on your lips. It begins to feel dry after the initial softness that lasts for maybe five-ish minutes and forms into little clumps on your lips, which easily leads to having to wipe it off and reapply numerous times a day.

- The lipbalm actually feels very waxy. It has beeswax in it, so, right now, you might be thinking "Well, it has beeswax in it, isn't that natural?". In comparison to my previous lipbalm, which consisted mostly of beeswax, this product actually feels rather sticky and, like I already said, dry. I have ordered a good number of these, in a short space of time, as I found them really good to begin with though little did I know there is an ingredient within all of their lip balms which can cause an awful infection for some people. For 3 months I had this infection - I continued to use it as I thought it couldn't possibly be the balm. The worse the infection, the more I put on! It got so bad that I was referred for blood tests, which all came back negative and it then became apparent that the balm could well be the issue. I rushed out and bought 3 different other brands, in desperation as I had been walking around looking hideous for 3 months (sometimes not even wanting to leave the house!!) and within just a couple of hours of not applying it and applying another brand - gone! I know this won't affect everyone but I felt the need to warn of the possible infection it can cause some people. I have seen read other similar reviews and some mentioning how they can actually dry out...
