I have searched for a long time for a shaving cream that was natural in ingredients, had a good scent, foamed well and poduced a good shave, well congratulations to Burts Bees Natural Skin Care Shave Cream for men, top marks. Good size tube too, some natural product companies give a very little amount of shave cream for a lot of money, this one is good value too, sadly difficult to find on high street, you generally have to purchase on the internet.

Expected more from Burts Bees, a brand I've bought plenty in the past. It does the job well enough as a shave cream, and its a very generous sized tube for the price. But eugh, the smell (or is it lack of..?)Maybe I'm just used to less natural products and their perfume. But imagine the smell of coal tar ointment with the soupcon of shoe polish, and that would be the note you get here. Not enough to be offensive, but enough to remind you of what you are missing with a perfumed brand. If you want natural and great smelling, pay the extra for Cowshed. And please, BB, stick a bit of honey or lavender or something in this. I want to feel like I'm using a mens' grooming product, not something from the pharmacy!

Leave skin supple even after a close shave.One has to realise this is NOT a shaving foam and will not as such lather on the skin. However,It's a shaving cream and will show like white cream on the skin making shaving easier compared to some good gels i have used.Make sure your hands are wet when you apply. You do not need much on the hands. A thin layer applied to the face will more than suffice.Also, I find it easier to clean the blade of shavings during and after. A big plus compared to gels I have tried.I think good value for £$£$
