DULL red, not RICH red. But really good quality., 11 Dec. 2016
The quality of the product is really good. It moisturises the lips really really well. But the only other reason for me buying this is the tint in which it was advertised as "sheer rich red colour". I wouldn't even call it rich. It's more of a sheer DULL red colour. Just as it is on the photo of the item description. I was a bit disappointed as I was expecting a rich red colour. But hey, it's a good quality lip balm. So still usable.

Lovely lipstick but too many toxins, 1 April 2017
Burt's Bees tinted lip balm has replaced all of my high end lipsticks (Clinique, Clarins etc). I'm making every effort to avoid nasty toxins in makeup so I've ditched all of my old makeup and replaced it with organic and natural products. These are very pigmented and extremely moisturising. I've tried four different colours and my favourites are Hibiscus and Pink Blossom. Red Dhalia and Rose are a little too pigmented for me but lovely shades. All the shades really show up against my pale skin.UPDATE: I have checked the toxicity rating with the Environmental Working Group (EWG) and it is a 4. The EWG rating is from 1 (low toxin) to 10 (high toxin). I don't think I'll repurchase this again due to the toxicity rating. I'll stick with Burts Bees Lip Crayon which has a EWG rating of 2.

Good but used to be better, 16 May 2017
It's a good tinted moisturiser - the shade is absolutely lovely, the smell isn't overpowering, and it does a fairly good job at keeping the lips soft and protected. However, it is still just a little too drying for me - if I use it throughout the day, I will have slightly chapped lips in the evening. This is especially surprising as I remember having no such problems with the earlier formulation - in fact, the reason I re-purchased it was because it was the only tinted moisturiser I'd ever tried that did not require an additional layer of moisturiser underneath. Now that's gone I'm not sure if I'll buy it again, I might look for sellers who still stock the old formula.Very good customer service, nothing to complain about.
