Finally a base coat that works!, 18 Nov. 2015

I have always had such a problem with my nails chipping within a few hours sometimes of painting them. I've tried so many base coats in addition to top coats including Orly Bonder and OPI but they haven't been effective at all. I read that it can sometimes be because of the chemistry of the nails and some people are just unfortunately not blessed with nails that are to be painted. I figured it was worth one last shot so bought this. So glad I did - finally, my manicures last! They now last a few days which for me is a miracle. Perhaps for people who don't have the problems I did it would last quite long. It also protects quite well against staining on the nail too - I've used a range of colours including the usual reds and blues that stain with little impact if any on my nails. In short, this is well worth the money and I will forever be using this base coat from now on!

Its okay, 1 April 2014

CND sticky base coat has been overated i'd say. simply because the hold of nail varnish to my nails didn't really work, I'd see chips within a day or two, however i reckon that i may be applying rather thick layers of varnish on my nails. But its an ok product, it came very quickly too!

Really good base, 20 May 2014

I've been using this for many months now and it does a good job - it has a tacky consistency which makes the nail polish colour stick to your nail and protects the nail somewhat from discolouration from direct contact with the nail colour. Better than some other brands that I've tried.
