Not as 'dusty' pink as thought...., 4 Oct. 2012

To start with - I am a huge fan of CND Shellac power polishes. This colour for me however was just a little bit too dark pink - I thought it would be a lighter shade of pink, maybe a bit more 'dusty'.

I have now ordered the 'Clearly Pink CND Shellac' in the hope that this will be more to the exact shade that I am after.

This rose bud is still a lovely colour and the CND Shellac products cannot be faulted whatsoever - I type and file all day at work, cook, wash and clean when home and not one chip in this polish yet in over 7 days!

TIPS AND WARNING: I did have my gel nails done at the salon, but at £25 every 3-4 weeks I decided to try it at home. Having been doing my own gel nails now for a few months - just a few tips and warnings to share! Only buy the CND Shellac's as any other brand is a rip-off brand and will not last as long. Secondly, the CND Shellac polishes can be layered on top of each other to create brand new shades! For inspiraton just google CND Shellac, go...

One of the best Shellac colors, 15 Nov. 2011

I live in the U.S. and ordered quite a few different colors - Red Baroness is one of the best. On the U.S. Amazon site, you'll also see that this color has great reviews. (I thought this 5-star review needed to be added here because the other reviewer rated it one star based on not having received the product - I noticed because I was checking to see if price was better on the UK site, but it is not.)At salons, I've had manicures done with Gellish and Shellac. I preferred the Shellac manicures - but it needs to be done right (very thin layers & correct curing times; and make sure the nail is clean and a PH bond applied first).

This is not a genuine shellac cnd product. It's like normal polish and not gel. It bubbles under the uv lamp. Complete waste of money.
