Power Packed Product in your Anti Ageing Arsenal, 25 Aug. 2015

This is a power packed serum that will be added to my anti ageing routine. My first rule when evaluating skincare products is that it must not contain any parabens, sulphates or mineral oil. Happily Collage's serum fulfilled the brief. The colour is a milky white and it has a lovely consistency - slightly viscous with no strong odour. It glides onto the skin, is absorbed immediately and leaves no oily residue. I applied it after cleansing my face and before applying a facial oil to seal in all the anti aging ingredients.

The main active ingredients of interest are:

1. Lactobacillus/ Kelp Ferment Filtrate - a natural kelp extract derived from fermenting sea kelp. This helps to produce a natural film that acts as an effective oil free moisturiser;

I've been using this serum for a couple of days now, my skin definitely feels more taught and smooth. I had a little redness from a recent blemish and that has pretty much disappeared now. Only prolonged use will give results in respect to the anti-ageing properties so I can't comment on that aspect.My only negative comment about this serum is that I really dislike the scent, because of the scent I only apply it before bed after cleansing my face. It's very thin in consistency so a little tricky to apply - but it absorbs almost immediately. It doesn't leave any sticky residue once it's absorbed and I wake with lovely skin :)I received this serum at a discount in return for my honest feedback.
