If only they worked, they would be brilliant, 12 April 2017
There has never been a good replacement for the Braun cordless gas tongs and these Carmens looked great but unfortunately both examples received did not work properly. The concept is great but neither example heated properly. Wife is very disappointed and there is a huge market opportunity for someone to get this right. A for effort but D for excecution sadly.

A shame as I thought this will be really useful. Unfortunately it does not heat up sufficiently to be able to do anything at all, it looks cute but is completely pointless.

I bought these to use on holiday, but unfortunately they would not recharge via an international adaptor. The charge only really lasts for one short use. I knew they would only do a very gentle curling, but that would have been fine. On the plus side, the service from the company was really good.
