I hesitate to write this review since, if too many people catch on, the price will just get higher and higher. However, in the interests of honesty, this is, in my opinion, the best perfume ever. Beats Chanel, in all its guises, hands down, as well as all the rest. Head and shoulders above all competitors.

I was given this as a birthday present and have immediately ordered another bottle. This perfume is a keeper - for life. I never want to be without.

It scores on all fronts:

longevity - put it on in the evening and it still lingers the next morning;

depth - deep as a mossy bank;

high notes - as fragrant as a field full of roses, gardenia, lily of the valley, freesia, you name it, the scent is gorgeous.

But please don't all go out and buy this on the strength of my review - I'd hate to rub up against every other shopper in Tesco or Lidl, or Waitrose, even, wearing it. God forbid it should ever become as common as Chanel No 9...

It's the only perfume I've used in years that my husband actually asked which perfume I was wearing . He wasn't the only one. It's a beautiful perfume .

got a sample from a london dept store and loved it. bought it and love it even more on the skin. very fresh, springtime scent, hard to describe but just very sophisticated. the type of scent that will make your outfit seem more expensive.
