All of which sounds a lot like me. Except that the (ahem) olfactory semiotics on display here don't really distil any of the above. It's pleasant, its woody notes are just a touch too polite. And while it's top quality product, it's lacking something - like a plate of spag bol with no pepper, or a mod suit with no felt lining on the underside of the collar.

Bottle - well designed. Totally unfussy.

Longevity - it's more of a Jim Morrison than a Clive Dunn

Thmell - dethent. But not projective enough. Clean, unsoapy.

Mod factor - yeah, not bad. I'm thinking side one of Cafe Bleu on vinyl though, rather than My Generation

Perfect gift for any man, 15 Nov. 2014

I bought this for my boyfriend for his birthday. He's been wanting a perfume that's more sophisticated, that he can wear at work, particularly when he has meetings with business clients. It's a sexy, masculine scent. I love it. He loves it. The smell last longer than some other perfumes, but isn't overpowering (I get headaches if perfumes are too strong). He wears this on special occasions/nights out too. It's his go to scent since I got it for him :)
