So Disappointed, 13 Feb. 2015

I wore Chantilly for years and for my wedding day. I was excited to see it was available but not by Houbigant but Dana. I guessed it would be much the same aroma when it was selling as Chantilly with similar packagi, but no the perfume is NOTHING like the Chantilly I remember and loved. I sprayed some on my wrist, hated the smell but kept with it to let the base come through. The smell was vile absolutely nothing like the original. I scrubbed and scrubbed my wrist but found it difficult to get rid of the awful smell. Thank goodness it was cheap because it is now in the bin. I have given only one star for delivery and really shouldn't have as it was supposed to be delivered the day before. I notice this has been changed on the order tracking. I apologise for being angry but I hate being taken for a sucker when I buy in good faith. SHAME ON YOU DANA WHOEVER YOU ARE!!!!!!!!

I use amazon to by my products as brilliant. Good value for money and great for getting those lovely perfumes that cannot no longer get in the high street .stores. I've not been able to get .my perfume. Chantilly by Dana for over 33 years until I was told to check out and try amazon. And was so pleased to find this on here and great value for money. It's great to here people saying Wat beuitiful fer fume I'm wearing and when asked what it is .they never heard of it and said oh I'm not up to date on new products. I told one lady and her husband it's been around for over 35 years or more.so.said to them. If you or looking for something you can't find it.try amazon your be sure to get it .brilliantly service so quick and reliable. I will be doing all my Xmas shopping on here.if you haven't tried the Chantilly then give it a try .brilliant and great money for size of bottles

When I saw this item it took me back to my youth. I couldn't wait to order it. I remembered its soft powdery smell, so feminine. I had a surprise when I sprayed it, however. Gone was the subtle essence of the powdery fragrance. It now seems much sharper and cheaper. Hence, I hardly wear it. Have I changed or has the fragrance formula changed? Used to be produced by Chantilly but no longer. So disappointed.
