I have dark blonde hair naturally with light blonde highlights. I was growing out my highlights and they were about at my ears but got impatient so decided to go with an all over colour something in between to even my hair out. Have previously used the nice and easy mousse to do this in a slightly darker blonde shade and it worked well, only the colour was too dark and i wanted more of a 'bronde' colour. Did a test strand etc and this one seemed ok. When i put this colour on my hair it was starting to go lilac which scared me! I am currently pregnant and heard stories of dyes reacting strangely to the hormones but i thought i would leave it on despite my husband starting to laugh at me. So I left it 30 mins, as I did the test strand and washed it out. Phew I could see it wasn't purple, however the top of my hair (dark blonde bit) had gone quite orangey.
