Less complicated, easy to use and very effective., 30 Oct. 2016

Since my wife has a more advanced Nail Care system, I ordered this for me! I don't know whether it was meant for women, but it sure works well for men as well. I have been relying on a basic nail filer on my nail cutter. It works but it's course so it leaves the filed part rough. The Sapphire file with coarse and fine graining in this set provides both course and fine filing, amazing results. The items look well made.

I thought I would only need the Sapphire File, but I have found the scissors is very useful as well as the twizzers. The Scissors' shape makes it easy to cut nails. Because the cutting part is angled, I can cut the parts of the nails around the lateral nail fold, where the use of a nail cutter is arkward. With the twizzers, I am able to pick up dead skin around the nails and even the scissors come in hand for pulling or chopping those pesky pieces of flesh.

The leather case, securely encloses the items and none of the items would get lost while...

Desirable manicure set, 4 Nov. 2016

Got this smart three piece manicure set to try and improve the look of my nails. The slightly curved scissors can be used in either right or left hand and are neat and very sharp. The plastic handled sapphire file comes with efficient coarse and fine grained sides to smooth nails easily and the small tweezers, which have a good spring to them, meet perfectly, to complete a very practical trio. All are contained in a well made leather case that secures with a good stud fastener. The leather finish is a little coarser than I had expected, but I think this will add to the durability of the case. The set did a good job on my nails. I had intended keeping it for my personal use, but, when my wife came across it, she asked if she could have it, indicating that it would fit perfectly into her handbag and not take up a lot of room. I hope to get another set.

Nice little set, 19 Nov. 2016

This isn't a bad little set - I've given it to my wife as she'll use it more than I. The scissors are what you'd expect; a curved cutting edge and loops for one finger/thumb. The cut smoothly without any bite/catch. Tweezers felt a little small (in comparison to another regular, larger pair we have at home) but operate fine, with just enough resistance to pinch with. The nail file is very good – apparently diamond cut – and does actually files effectively and quickly (in comparison to files I've had as part of an older set). The leather case is fine (I don't think it's real leather) and closes tight with the metal popper.All-in-all it's a nice little set. It would have been perfect, for me, if it came with nail-clippers.
