I am concerned that this product contains plastic microbeads which get flushed into drains and eventually end up in rivers, lakes and the sea - These are dangerous to the environment and a serious pollution hazard. They are so small they can be ingested by marine animals and introduce toxins into the food chain.If you care for the environment you will avoid any product that contains microbeads.

as effective as most acne treatments, 14 Jan. 2010
Since using this instead of regular soap my facial skin is significantly more smooth and supple with fewer spots. It leaves a really great clean feeling when used before bedtime. It is ever so slightly oily and takes quite a bit of rinsing to wash off but does not in any way leave your skin oily. Also the beads are fairly gentle and I therefore combine it with intermittent use of a St Ives facial scrub which is much harsher and more exfoliating. Having tried all the different high street brands of facial scrubs this 'Clean and Clear' is the most effective at preventing spots.

Great for teenage skin!, 16 April 2014
Im a teen and i struggle with blackheads, this is the only exfoliator that has actually done something about them! It works really well, smells good and leaves your skin feeling clean and refreshed.
