After having had professional electrolysis, I was a bit nervous about trying it our myself. However, I found it easy to use and effective. There are a couple of things to bear in mind though. After using it, you do get little red spots which can take a couple of weeks to heal. Secondly, you do need to start on a very low setting and then see what setting is best. I found between 3 and 4 to be about best for me. Although it is a lengthy process, I found that it did work, and I still have an inch square on my leg where no hair grows (this is where I tested it out). Hope you will find it useful too.

This product so far does appear to do what it should. I have used it on parts of my face, stomach and leg, all appearing hairless since. It does leave red marks, but I used germoline on it and they were never more than a small healing spot look. I never did more than one or two hairs at a time on my face which seems to help the look, and the small spot of readness were gone within 2 days. On my leg the healing time was a lot longer, but just be sensible and do small areas at a time as recommended and test what strength of electricity works. Others have said they thought it was too fiddly and that they didn't have enough hands, which is something I didn't experience at all. The retractable wire etc is contained within one pen-like thing, and the only awkward thing I found was constantly having to have damp finger tips for conductivity. Good light and mirror is essential, maybe they were holding the mirror too. There is a contstant beep during the time that the electricity is pulsing...

I tried long and hard with this but couldn't get it to work-perhaps it's because I'm fair and hairs are soft. It may work if your hair is thicker. Had to return mine.
