This set is very good. I'm an ex-nail chewer, and like an ex-smoker or a recovering alcoholic, I reckon I could relapse at any moment.
I would pick and chew at any rough cuticle, or jagged nail edge. Two things fixed the habit. This is the first one - it gives really clean cut and gets the tiniest bits of roughness. That means you can genuinely shape the nails, rather than lop straight across the top. I carry the fingernail one in my pocket at all times, so I can snip it off straight away, rather than start trying to fix the problem by picking or using my teeth. I found most cheap clippers would leave an edge that wasn't quite perfect, and the temptation was still there. With Clyppi, the cut is clean and so there's nothing to catch.
