I love the concept behind this product which is why I was keen on purchasing the product. As someone with dry skin I have seen many products in the market that comes usually in the form of lotion, moisturiser or liquid balm. This product however, catched my eye as it is a solid body/face balm that does not melt, till of course it has touched skin. This unique and different form of application and design of the product really intrigued me to trying this product out.
First impressions - I unscrewed the lid and smelt the product straight away as this is what others have mentioned to be prominent. I have to be honest I did expect a subtle coconut smell but was surprised by a sweet vanilla type of scent. This isn't too bad as the smell does eventually fade.
I apply the product to my face as I have really dry and sensitive skin at the moment. This felt very smooth and silky and the greasy film soon settled into my skin so I did not look shiny at all. I also applied...

UPDATED: I have taken off a star because the scent is really overpowering to my sensitive noise, so I can't use it as often as I like, I am still using on my feet. If you like vanilla perfume or are ok with strong scents, this is definitely still five stars though, because it's very nourishing for sore skin.

Excellent for dry elbows and sore patches on feet. I spend a lot of time in trainers, and they - over years - rub on my feet on the bony areas (ooh, I sound attractive..), creating a hard area of skin that darkened and looks a bit icky. My elbows get the same darkening if I don't moisturise, and are perpetually dry. No idea why. Must just be lucky, I guess!
I am slapping this on a few times a day, and after showering - I'm just keeping it in my handbag (it's little, and weighs very little). It leaves a fine film, greasy (like coconut oil - unsurprisingly!). As I wear socks/a jumper over it, it is fine - and I think maybe covering over the product...
