I have spent years, decades, wanting to wear pretty scarves like people in the movies do! Playing with a wartime wrap up, or trying a pretty medieval veil. Or simply wanting to keep a scarf on for longer than ten minutes as I paint the roof. Every time I have given up, no matter how long I spent twisting and folding, no matter how many pins I used... they all looked terrible and fell off in seconds. No more. I'm now aware that this simple little head band of velvet/velour and velcro is the answer. THIS is how women put on pretty scarves and veils and THIS is how they stay put.

It's WONDERFUL. Within seconds, I had a jaunty war time scarf up little number - and it STAYED PUT. I'm so looking forward to playing with it and finding out more and more things to do with headscarves.

I have a very steep slope at the base of my skull, which has always prevented me from wearing elasticated headbands - they simply pinged off after riding into itself. This doesn't...

So far so good. I've been wearing this wig grip for the past week and I don't know what I'd do without it. I found myself out on a particularly windy day and my wig didn't even budge, so 5 stars there.The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is because it doesn't come with instructions on how to put it on. It took me a few tries before I got it to sit and hold my wig properly. But once I had that figured out I could shake and head bang to my hearts content, confident that my wig would stay in place.I haven't tried any of the other brands\types of wig grips so I can't compare it to them, but for the price of it its definitely worth trying.
