I use mine for make-up. The self-adhesive holds well and once it's used, it can easily be removed and re-stuck with eyelash glue. Occasionally, the glue sticks to the backing plastic.

Used these for 80's night and stuck them on my face under one eye, look awesome. Need to be careful when peeling off the backing as sometimes the gem comes away without the sticky part. I used a scalpel to make sure I lefted the sticky bit with the gem.
