This product does exactly what it says - as long as you make sure you wet the end of it. I read a good review and a bad review on Amazon before I bought this product; the good review mentioned moistening it but the bad review said that it was very hard on the nail. As it is so reasonably priced (even with the postage cost it's cheaper than similar products in the shops) I thought I'd give it a go and I'm glad I did. With a small glass of water to wet the end, it's very easy to apply and does exactly what I bought it for, at a fraction of the price of some other methods. It really is worth a try, but don't forget the water!! Hope this helps.

Great for me a gardener, 30 May 2014

Just right for me as I don't like the soft pencil type as they wear to quick and inside they seem to be broken. A touch of water on the tip to make them work well is all I need. They sharpen well and keep the point as I have short nails for working in the garden therefore I need a good hard point so they help to bring my nails back to looking nice again with a good hand cream or homemade herb oil.

This works well and it doesn't break easily with sharpening. The white isn't as white as other makes but it's a good nail whitening pencil for the price, but I like that it looks natural. Can't go wrong with this price. As good as more expensive makes.
