I'll have to disagree with the previous reviews. Firstly, the good: these guards are inexpensive, and they arrived super-quickly despite being sent from China. Now, the bad: the guards that I received were rather soft, and four of the guards had a mesh that was way too open. The brushes couldn't be dried upside down in them because the mesh was not strong enough to support the weight (unlike another popular but more expensive product, which has much higher density and strength). The ones that had a very open weave would get the bristles poking out, and thank goodness that I checked them because the brushes were drying with bristles coming out even if they were laying flat... in the end I had to remove them completely from those and change them into other guards.

Overall, they weren't a total waste of money, but I don't trust them to keep my brushes safe for travelling, they are too soft, or any vertical drying. For flat drying, the smaller mesh seems to be OK although it...

Great product, but a few things I would change, 19 Oct. 2014

Great product. Used as soon as they arrived. However the delivery took longer than I expected, but that is understanding since they were coming from China to the uk. Overall great product, but they could include different sizes, like smaller ones for eye brushes, as I have found they are all the same size and only fit over my face brushes. I use the really techniques brushes and they fit the bigger brushes perfectly but unfortunately they don't fit or have a size for the small brushes (eyes, lip & detail). The price they are sold at is good for what they are, and free delivery is very helpful

Good for a one off, wouldn't re purchase., 13 Feb. 2015

They are ok... They did the job. But in the packet there were ones that were huge and were even too big for my giant brushes- so all the bristles fell out of the holes. The guards kept falling off of my brushes so that everytime I moved my brushes they just came off. But apart from that, they kept my bristles in an ok shape. I don't think I'd re purchase them though, I'd rather pay more money and get better results.They also took AGES to arrive, atleast 3-5 weeks. Which was incredibly annoying as I wanted to clean my brushes and had to wait to clean them properly.
