these are cotton wool balls, just like any other, and for the price, you're getting a bargain... Wrong! They are about 1/3 size of standard cotton wool balls, so what looks like a good price for 500 cotton wool balls, is in fact daylight robbery! The price of standard cotton wool balls from the supermarket are of more value than these.Plus the ones that arrive, are not the ones in the picture.Seller not to be trusted, and wholeheartedly NOT RECOMMENDED

Perfect size for earplugs, 27 July 2015

I needed cotton wool to use for earplugs because silicone plugs make my ears itch and foam ones won't insert properly in one ear. I usually use about a third of a normal sized cotton wool ball, but sometimes end up with too little or too much. These small balls have solved that problem, and are the perfect size for my purpose. They lose a star for not stating the size in the description (it was thanks to other reviews that I knew what size to expect).
