Some lovely smelling hand creams in handy little tubes, 23 Oct. 2016

I love Crabtree and Evelyn products and their hand creams are really good.This gift set is a taster of their hand cream range and would make a lovely present.I especially love the Avocado, Olive and Basil but they are all good.This is a handy set giving you little tubes to put in your luggage, have in your handbag or in the glove compartment of your car.Delightful gift.

A wonderful range of products, 22 Oct. 2016

This little sampler pack is lovely. It’s presented in a very nice, colourful packaging and will certainly make an excellent gift for someone at any time of the year. I obtained this for my wife and she loves the range of products. The one thing the female population uses all the time are hand creams and this range gives a lot of choice to the user. The range includes the usual favourites - Pomegranate, Avocado, Honey & Eucalyptus – everything a girl could want. The aromas are sumptuous and the creams a great size for ladies handbags. I hasten to add that my wife is the wrong side of 65 and I think she has great skin. She keeps fit and really looks after herself, so for her to endorse any product has to be good. These hand creams will certainly be used and I’m sure they’ll be replaced with the same product line.

Passable but not very exciting., 22 Oct. 2016

This is a nice looking gift set which, I felt, was slightly let down by the product within. While there is nothing particularly wrong with the creams, they simply lack that "wow" factor that a good scented cream should have.

The box is very nice and the tubes are certainly securely closed, almost too well closed in fact, a couple of the tubes took some serious effort to screw the tops off at first! So not a great gift for the elderly perhaps.

The tubes themselves look rather like the sort of metallic squeezey tubes you get modelling paint in.

As for the cream itself, I found it to feel slightly greasy when first applied, particularly on the insides of the hands. However, if you can let it absorb for a few minutes, this feeling quickly dissipates.

The various scents these come in, which should be their selling point, are a little too subtle for their own good to me. There is a different scent to each, some being more feminine than others, but none of them...
