smells gorgeous, nice for younger or older women, 20 Oct. 2013

I love the smell of this shower gel. I am not really a bath fan so I like to have a nice, luxurious feeling shower gel product. I was given a small sample bottle of this as a stocking filler a while back and I was a little dubious at first - I'll admit, I thought Crabtree and Evelyn were for "older" people and didn't think they'd have anything for me (in my twenties). How wrong I was! The gel smells lovely in the bottle so I gave it a whirl and fell in love! The scent is soft and feminine and a world away from these overly pungent sickly sweet smells that seem to be all the rage nowadays. I only needed a tiny bit on a shower pouffe to give me a lovely thick lather, so a little goes a long way. The scent is somewhere between floral and powdery, it feels and smells very "clean". I don't know how else to describe it, there isn't a single note that jumps out at me, there is perhaps a slight woody depth but overall it smells clasic, timeless, clean and comforting. It reminds me of summer...

Just purchased several items from Crabtree & Evelyn. Excellent service and the products are beautiful. Very happy with them all, can't fault them. Bought some for my sister who is 76 and also treated myself, I am 60 and find all these products great value.

Got some of this for Christmas and was pleased to find it here at Amazon. Only a small amount needed for a luxuriant bath with not too many bubbles - havent tried it in the shower. It's definitely a relaxing fragrance
