The product is amazing! I died my hair red 3 weeks ago and applied this last week, I have washed it since and the colour hasn't budged, a very messy product and may look like you have been on a killing spree. Even though the bottle says to pre-lighten or bleach hair it gives really good results without. I haven't bleached mine and everyone has said how bright red my hair looks. For anyone who hasn't bleached their hair I would reccomend to leave colour on for 30 minutes and use old towels!

I bought this thinking it would turn my hair pillarbox red but I was disappointed.

I bleached my hair with a 30VOL bleach from a pastel green and got all my hair to a golden blonde colour where it was slightly darker at the root.

I applied the hair colour to damp hair (as instructed) and left on for 1 hour and applied heat for the last 5 minutes.

I rinse with ice cold water for 10 minutes and the water didn't even run clear.

It was surprising how this didn't actually stain my skin.

Whilst it was wet it look bright red but when I dryer and straighten my hair, I wanted to cry.

It was a bright dark pink. (If that makes any sense)

The only parks of my hair that are actually pillarbox red are the parts that were pre lifted but darker than the rest.

I'm going to saturate my hair again and see what colour it goes but if it doesn't turn the red I want I'm just going to buy manic panic or XX live colour.

It is a good value for money but the colour...

What a waste !!, 9 May 2014

I have been using Fire Crazy Colour for years and just recently started buying it from the internet. This is the first time I have used this company and I have been ripped off. Dye was a different colour and looked like it has been diluted. My hair was a nasty washed out colour, not the amazing bright red it usually is. Very disappointed.
