Originally, I bought one of these hairbrushes from a hairdressing salon when I was on a visit to my son and found that I had left my hairbrush at home. I didn't want to spend too much as it was a temporary replacement, but in the event it became my favourite; as a daily grooming brush it glides through the hair effortlessly and is very nice to handle. It is also a convenient size to carry in all but the smallest handbag. This was 5 years ago and recently I noticed a small split in the rubber covering on the handle. To my delight, a web search revealed that I could get a replacement on Amazon, which, even though the old brush is still serviceable, I bought as a spare.

It served me well for almost 4 weeks, seeing use typically 2 times a day. However during use, it snapped in half at the top of the handle. For my hair which everyone says is remarkably thick, it doesn't seem strong enough. But this is possibly not a problem for most people. Every brush I've used feels like it strains slightly in my hair.
