I bought these back in October and have used them on a few occasions with varying results. They do give great curls but they last for variable amounts of time depending on how you treat your hair. I have very long, and thick Asian hair which comes down to my bottom when dry and likes to stay straight.
I have experimented in a number of ways and find if I use john frieda frizz ease go curlier heat activated spray And mix it in a spray bottle with water(1 part heat activated spray to 4 parts water) then spray it on before using the curlformers while my hair is damp gives me the best results. I also tend to then blast my hair with my hair dryer on the highest setting before leaving the curlformers in overnight. Seems excessive I know but gives better curls then I seem to get with my straighteners and seems less damaging. Using no heat does not work for me but then my hair just likes being straight and boring. Also if you find the 16 curlformers aren't enough then what I tend to do...
