Until I actually weighed out for this set I hadn't realised what I was missing in the talon care department! My previous endeavours were either simply ripping nails off by hand (satisfying but running the risk of removing too much and having a sore toe tip for a few days), scissoring (extremely cumbersome with the size of scissor I have), or clippers (OK but not very strong on my nails and apparently not so good for the nails). This nicely packaged little set has changed all that!
Firstly, the pieces are made of stainless steel, and sitting in your hand simply feel "right", ready for action. The pliers themselves are excellent, nice and strong and capable of easily cutting through my gnarled old claws, after which the nail-file comes to the fore to smooth off any ragged edges, all good stuff. Its also come in handy for giving the hard skin on my heels a seeing to. I don't have use for the third component as things stand (the ingrown toenail file) but I've no doubt it's up...
