It won't beat Mother Nature, but it keeps her in check and is excellent value., 12 July 2015

I don't know why Mother Nature insists on growing nose hairs longer when you're elderly, but she does.

I bought one of these a couple of years ago trying to thwart her, but she fights back quite regularly, so I also use it quite regularly.

I don't like those circular nose hair trimmers. They seem a bit wide to stick up your nose and they only cut hair at the tip anyway.

This one cuts along quite a long edge, so you can direct it exactly where you want it. It's small and easily handled.

It only takes one AAA battery (and the battery lasts a good long time - even if you're Pinnochio!).

It doesn't fill you with confidence when you switch it on. The motor is quite lethargic (but you can't expect it to break the speed record with one AAA battery can you?). However, it does the job well and quickly.

The light is pathetic (but I don't know why you would need a light anyway) and, even using the supplied plastic guards it tends to pull some hairs if you use it on...

A fraction of the price I paid for my now defunct unit. Does a wonderful job of removing those bristly little blighters that pop out over-night. No more bushy eye brows either. The perfect companion ensuring no embarrassing "hairs" !!
