Having naturally wild and messy hair I was pleased to be offered this brush as a complimentary sample in exchange for an honest assessment and review. Having glanced in the mirror at my untidy tangled mop-head, I felt it was something I shouldn’t refuse.
The brush arrived well packed but I was concerned to note that its packing box described it as a hair brush *dryer*. This is not the case at all – it is a hair straightening brush so I hope the packaging will be re-labelled.
Alarmist observations out of the way and onto the review: I have reviewed a few of these brushes which all appear to be identical but I have noticed performance differences between them. This is an all-in-one combined hair brush and heated hair straightener, which my 13 year old daughter uses from time to time, to brush, detangle and straighten out her naturally wavy hair.
The product is made from robust feeling, hard plastics and is an attractive rose pink colour. It measures approximately 10.5 inches (26.5 cm) long, by about 2.75 inches (7 cm) at the widest point of the brush head, and roughly 2 inches (4.75 cm) thick, including the semi-rigid bristles which are about 0.8 inches (2 cm) long.
The built-in power lead with 3 pin socket plug measures approximately 78 inches (165 cm) long, which is a useful length. The cable has an attached Velcro fastener strap to keep the power lead rolled up tidily when not in use.

This item is by DROK and it arrived in a "kraft" cardboard manufacturers box with the printing on it. Inside was the brush with the necessary plug and manual.
I have never seen or heard of a straightener brush like this before so it was exciting to try it out. I usually don't use heated products on my hair apart from occassionally I use a GHD on my hair. This is a similar concept in that it straightens your hair.
It looks like a large regular brush at first glance but there are a few unique features to this brush. It has a on/off button, warm up button and temperature decrease button.
The instructions are clear for thick hair, medium and thin hair and decrease in temperature depending on the thickness of your hair.
