I bought this to give to my daughter so she would have a different colour Denman to me. It smelt of strawberries and the pretty strawberry designs have remained on the brush, even after repeated cycles through the dishwasher.I often had to put the brush through the dishwasher to give it a deep clean after the dreaded nit treatments thanks to primary school. While it lost it's strawberry scent after the first couple of cycles, the brush remained bright and clean looking and didn't become brittle.It has proven why Denman are always worth the money, it copes with thick long hair, doesn't hurt when my daughter uses it to detangle her hair after washing and it's durability means that any money paid at purchase is saved long term, as it outlives cheaper brushes.I would recommend, as it is a great investment and will treat longer length hair with care, and helps maintain glossy locks

Best brushes out there, 25 May 2013

This is a great quality brush like all the Denman's and fantastic for my long hair, I like the feel on my scalp too. This is my second Denman brush (the other a non scented handbag size one) and don't see any reason to switch brands, ever. I've had the little one for many

years now, possibly eight or so and it still looks almost as good as new, just with a few minor scratches to the handle from knocking around in my handbag.

The scented part is a nice little novelty and is quite subtle. The smell is in the rubber part holding the bristles and does not transfer to your hair . The rubber is slightly different on this one than on my non scented one, so I hope it will have the same longevity as the other brush but to be honest, if it lasts five years instead of ten then I still think it's good value.

The best thing about Denman brushes is the ease of cleaning them. When you get hair product in the brush it easily washes out, without effecting the quality of the brush. Other...

This one is exactly like my others but with the gimmicky lemon scent..., 12 Jan. 2016

I've used Denman brushes for years and years and can't fault them. They seem to last forever and are great quality. This one is exactly like my others but with the gimmicky lemon scent and the only reason I bought it was because it was working out a bit cheaper than the normal one, even though it was basically the same brush. The lemon smell doesn't transfer onto hair though and after a couple of weeks of using it the lemon smell is barely there but that doesn't bother me much. It does look a bit cheap with the lemons up the back of it but I only use this one in the house so I don't care what it looks like as long as it works, and it does.
