Fantastic shampoo. My son has been using this for a while now, he has suffered badly with thick itchy flakey scalp and it's the only shampoo that keeps his yeast infection away leaving his hair clean and free of any build up that its no longer an embarrassment for him.

I had a terrible time in the first part of 2010 when I had to choose whether or not to send my children to boarding school. I was extremely anxious and worried. I got dermatitis on my scalp. Then my hair started to fall out. Everytime I washed it there would be great handfuls in the bath. I tried zinc and castor oil cream, almond oil, neem oil, morocan oil. My hair felt thin when I put it up and when I did a french pleat I could see a great patch of bare scalp. In September 2010 out of sheer desperation I went to the doctor. He looked at my scalp and confirmed that I had dermatitis, then prescribed Capasal and a steriod scalp application. The first time I used it my hair didn't fall out in the bath! I couldn't believe it. I did apply the steriod scalp application afterwards, which cleared up my dermatitis, but the Capasal definately worked its wonders first. I have suffered from scalp psoriasis for many years and have only managed to keep it in control with regular use of Polytar shampoo. When supplies of this stopped, my scalp condition became much worse and was difficult to control. I used several different coal tar products but nothing really cleared my scalp until I used Capasal shampoo. It made a difference immediately. After just one shampoo my scalp cleared and it no long itches. Previously my hair had started to fall out which sometimes happens when the scalp is shedding so much skin, but now fortunately that has ceased. I now prefer it to Polytar shampoo and will always use it on a regular basis.
