I've been contemplating getting one of these "easy detangle" brushes for a while now. My 5-year-old daughter has very long hair which is a nightmare to brush, so I decided to try this one. First impressions - it is a really good shape to hold. It's got a slightly curved handle, with a rounded edge, which fits into the palm of my hand comfortably. Deciding to give the brush a baptism of fire, we tried it after a hair wash. This is where we usually end up with screams and tantrums and that's just me let alone her! So with great trepidation I brushed the first stroke ... then the second ... no sound from daughter. The brush went through her hair smoothly, like a knife through butter. How it did it I have absolutely no idea, I guess it's something to do with the layout and size of the bristles, some being shorter than others. But very quickly it was apparent that this brush works, and works well. It would usually take me a good 10 minutes to brush her hair after a bath...
