Perfect for travel - so small and light that you can take it anywhere, though I use it for everyday use.

Slide switch to on.. and a bright blue LED comes on - I like this light, don't ask me why, but I do. 30 second heat up time to 200 degrees.:) :)

The plates are small enough to use as root lift for volume on the crown or to add texture.

I found it ideal for layers and short/medium length hair as it's so small and easy to handle. The bigger tools only work if you've shoulder length hair - but these would work even on a short bob - or if you wanted volume without rollers. However if you've got beyond shoulder length hair, this crimper is a travel version.. so you might find it would take you a long time. Then you'd have to have the oomper loompa sized versions... not the noddy sized versions.

It's got the silky silicon rubber coating - which for me is lovely to the touch, but for everyone else means that it stay cool and doesn't need a heat mat...

..good crimper. .the only problem i didn't realize it was so small. ..i have got a lot of hair so the first time i used it it took me ages....i will use it eventually but before u buy it make sure u understand how big it is.

I have another crimper that works much better than this. This one takes much longer to get hot and it has to beReally hot to be effective
