As a first time curler, I'd say these are great if you want to try out different looks, although so far I've just managed the one (ringlets with the wand locked together). There are a full range of instructions on You Tube. You don't get a full heat proof glove with these, just something that fits over three fingers so I have managed to burn myself a few times. Not impressed! Also be aware that they are rubbish as a straightener as the plates do not meet.

I am a novice to his sort of products, so I choose this one to have the two option, but mainly as a curler, and is brilliant...I bought it from hair supplier, and luckily £10 cheaper, as I was hesitating about the price, but when I've seen it, I said why not, and I am glad I did...Easy to use, creates beautiful curls!

Easy to use many styles to create!!! If you type the name of the product in Youtube you can see some sample videos with the styles, it creates beautiful curls and straighten perfectly even the more thick hair!!! A professional curling iron in your home!!!
