Pricey for only a one year guarantee, 25 Oct. 2012

My daughter has long hair that is layered and I have shorter hair, we couldn't do much on mine but we did 3 different styles on my daughters hair. I loved the big wavy curls that she did. She liked the big waves, that gave a natural tousled look to her whole head of hair. We laughed at the big crimp style we did and her friends thought it was a funky look.

It was easy to hold & manage and the glove stretched to fir her bigger hands. They heated up really quickly and altered the temperature to suit out individual type of hair. She is taking them over to her friends sleep over to play with all the different lengths & style of hair this weekend.

Pros:

Lovely long 3m swivel cord.

Heat protection glove included so you don't burn your hand when touching the wand.

Lovely big waves or curls.

Suitable for all hair types and styles (except short hair of course)

Cons:

One year guarantee is really bad for such a pricey item so would not buy...

I have frizzy hair which I straighten with a hot brush, and this works very well. Having tried this product on my hair, I was suprised to see that my hair looked as though it had reverted to it's natural, uncontrolled state, which wasn't what I thought would happen. Yes, it did produce waves, which would certainly have looked better if my hair was a bit longer, but they were very frizzy waves, which was a bit of a shame, as I have spent half my life trying to not have frizzy hair. I am in the process of growing my hair, so I will definitely try these again, and will change my review if if I have more success.They heat up incredibly quickly, and have a variable heat setting, so you can choose the temperatureI thought the glove supplied was quite useful, as within just a few minutes I managed to burn my hand and my forehead, because, as you can use the whole barrel of the waver to curl your hair, every part of it gets extremely hot. Doh!

I bought this Item hoping to get big, soft, natural looking waves/curles like the name suggests, however I have tried using this several times and It just crimps your hair, It looks very tight and unnatural, I was not happy at all, I never use It now :( just a waste of money
