The larger ridged side I found to be next to useless. It made little to no difference with my hair style. My hair usually responds well to the hair sponge method but not in this case. I wouldn't recommend and I wouldn't purchase again.I will continue to use (when time allows and no particular place to go) in the off chance that I get an abdicate look. If this happens I will update this review. But don't hold your breath.

My son is 7 years old, mixed race with tight, curly hair. When his hair is at a short length (no. 1 or no. 2) this is quite a useful item to give his hair some symmetrical, styled curls. With the right styling gel, it has a good look. Would reccomend for the price

Arrived quickly. Perfect size for children and adults (I have an 8 year old). Gives instructions if unsure how to use which is helpful and shows tells you what kind of curls/coils each side will give. Love this and my son hunks he looks so cool now!
