I first bought this Cleansing Cream for my daughter approximately a year ago as she had skin that was prone to spots and she had tried all sorts of products without any improvement. After using the product for a few weeks, along with Dr Hauschka's Clarifying Toner, her skin improved tremendously. The difference in her skin a year later is unbelievable, although she is still a teenager and probably still prone to spots, her skin is lovely. This product has changed her life dramatically and I can't recommend it enough, the only thing you need to do is commit to using the product regliously to get the best results.

Research has established that fragrances, alcohol and citrus extracts in skin-care products are among the most common cause of sensitizing and allergic reactions. Your skin may not look irritated or inflamed, but in reality below the surface, irritating ingredients including fragrance, can cause collagen to breakdown, and compromise the skins ability to fight daily environmental stress and damage.

This expensive slightly gritty cleanser is said to be for all skin types, but due to the ingredients, this is best for a normal to combination or slightly dry skin that isn't sensitive, this is because it contains a number of rich soothing plant oils, but it also contains potentially problematic ingredients for the skin, namely alcohol and fragrance. This contains no detergent cleansers, so the cleaning action is coming from the oils of sunflower seed oil, wheat germ oil, sweet almond oil, peanut oil and alcohol. Note, as this contains peanut oil, it may not suit anyone with a nut...

Dr Hauschka Cleansing Cream is one of the best facial cleaner I've ever used. It exfoliates the skin without leaving it dry, perfect for my mature skin. I have used various other cleansers before but I find Dr Hauschkha Cleansing Cream to be the best among them.
