I used the Marseille olive oil soap for years. It's very good for dry skin, and doesn't sting as much as ordinary soap if it gets in your eyes. I used other kinds of olive oil soap from time to time, just to try them. I found them either too oily and not soapy enough, or too hard and non-lathering like a block of soda or something. Either way, I thought they wouldn't kill many germs. This is the first soap that is remotely like my "benchmark" Marseille soap. It produces a really good lather, and, I bought it at a great price! It's got a scent, a bit like you've been to the hamam. I find that quite acceptable though.

Love it, has a lemongrass type scent, 1 July 2014
Love it, has a lemongrass type scent, lathers well, works extremely well like the Aleppo gold olive oil soap which I usually use but opted for something different, very happy, brilliant value for money will buy again
