Effective, and leaves hair in good condition., 5 Jun. 2013

I have struggled with an itchy, flaky scalp since I was young and have always used Polytar shampoo, which worked. However, the Polytar shampoo has been unavailable for some time now, and so I had to try and find an alternative.

I tried TGel shampoo and had an allergic reaction to it. I then spotted this E45 shampoo. I use the cream and lotion on a daily basis due to having dry skin, so I trusted this brand and decided to give it a try.

I find that I have to use quite a bit of this shampoo, as it doesn't lather up easily. There is no smell as such, but rather that smell you get from an absence of scent, if that makes sense. I have to say that I was a bit concerned when I came to rinse it out of my hair, as my hair felt very greasy and slippery. I was concerned my hair would look oily once it had dried. very good even on eczema, 16 Feb. 2011
I've been suffering of eczema for numerous years, and alas sometimes I have bad rashes on my scalp. Obviously it's not really possible to put my usual creams on my scalp, so I had to find a gentle shampoo that could clean without irritating and soothe my itchy head. I've tried this product and felt the difference straight away. The only minuses of this product are the strange smell due to the "perfume free" product (but I prefer it to be a bit weird than have eczema!), and the bottle being so small (only 200ml which is about 1/2 the size of other common shampoo bottles), for quite a higher price, although still cheaper than other brands.Overall, it's a worth trying product that does the job for a correct price compared to the others on the market.

Fantastic shampoo for people like me who suffer from dry scalp - and I have now got my mum using it for the same reason
