An Effective Shower Cream, 27 Nov. 2011

With advancing age I find that my skin is becoming increasingly sensitive and shows a slight rash after showering. Having used ordinary "detergent" shower gels for many years I switched to Dove which improved the situation for about 2 or 3 years, but the redness reappeared. E45 shower cream, which claims to be free from soap and detergents, I find pleasant to use, non-greasy and effective in keeping the rash at bay. Although the bottle is small it is economical in use, albeit difficult to empty properly - I find I have to wash it out. I like the cream enough to have bought six through Amazon and saved about £10 on high street prices. I'm glad I found it.

Good for dry skin bad for bathrooms, 3 April 2014

My wife has suffered with dry skin all her life and finds this product highly effective.However, if splattered around, it leaves a lard like deposit all over the bath, shower and tiles, which is very difficult to remove. Standard bathroom cleaners and even a steam cleaner have proved largely ineffective. Copious elbow grease is required and cloths, brushes etc. rapidly clog up as you work.

Not as good as E45 Wash, 26 Mar. 2015

This is nothing like E45's wash, it didn't leave my skin soft like the wash does. I use the wash as an in shower moisturiser and works great. Such a shame, I brought this as the pump on the wash bottle gets on my nerves.
