This is quite an unusual fragrance in the way it develops over time.When I first sprayed this it was reminiscent of a blast of toilet cleaner mixed with notes of ginger and patchouli!! - doesnt sound appealing does it?.... Thought I had made a big mistake and wasted my money. But after an hour or so it calmed down and the toilet cleaner aspect faded completely. Further on into the day, I started getting softer, warmer notes of bourbon vanilla come through along with the spice, which culminated into a quite a unique fragrance, which have to say I really quite like.I had previously purchased the bourbon vanilla version as I am a vanilla freak and I try to get more natural fragrances with less toxic ingredients. I had really liked this vanilla one, but find the aroma of the Ambrosia more interesting and unusual.My tip would be to spray it on a couple of hours before you go out (or are around other people) in order to save them inhaling the initial power of it!

Love the smell, 26 April 2015
Gorgeous smelling natural perfume which I can still smell hours later. Delivery took longer than stated time but It is coming from the States so perhaps that's quite normal.
